Sessions are guided by your needs and what you feel ready to explore. There is no pressure to have everything figured out. We move at a pace that feels right for you, focusing on building understanding, insight, and meaningful change.
Looking for a psychotherapist? At Being Therapy I strive to provide therapeutic services to improve your emotional wellbeing. I provide privately-paid virtual and in-person services. Session are booked online through Jane App. My services are not covered by OHIP. Below is a listing of what is offered.
Each session is about an hour (55 minutes) and is available virtually. Services are available anywhere in Ontario where reliable internet exists. Through a secure web-based software known as Jane App, we meet online through an end-to-end encrypted link that is generated 30 minutes before every booked session. The secure link will be sent to the email address that you choose at time of registration.
Patients are welcome to schedule an in-person visit in the Annex Office located near Bathurst and Bloor in Toronto’s West End. The office is walking distance from the Bloor (Line 2) Subway. Session are 55 minutes in length.
Patients are welcome to schedule a longer in-person visit in the Annex Office located near Bathurst and Bloor in Toronto’s West End. The office is walking distance from the Bloor (Line 2) Subway. Session are 110 minutes in length.
Psychotherapy that is focused on helping you get the most of out of the private and publicly funded programs and services. I work to understand you, build your goals based on needs and provide you with options that I think would be best to try in your local area. These services are available as part of regularly provided psychotherapy or as a stand-alone service. I have helped a number of families and couples understand what the system can offer a loved one who is struggling.
Social Assistant Recipients – Unfortunately, I am no longer offering discounted rates for those that receive social assistance (i.e. ODSP, CPP-D etc). All patients currently registered to receive this discount will be charge full service fees as of May 1, 2024.
